Make the next step clear

Help for your return desk.

Start with a purchase

Add a merchant, purchase date and currency. Open the purchase to add individual items and selected receipt photos or files. Each item has its own status, expected refund and confirmed return-by date. Receipt imports never assign a deadline.

Confirm dates

Open an item and choose Confirm return-by date. Enter the source and confirmation reason, then check the confirmation switch. You can apply a date to selected items from the purchase, reviewing any existing differences first. Corrections keep earlier dates in history. Verify the retailer’s exact cutoff and eligibility yourself.

Track partial refunds

In Reconciliation, record only money actually received. A $40 expected refund with $25 received leaves $15 outstanding. A second receipt adds once; correcting or reversing an entry keeps its original value. An unknown expectation stays unknown. Shipping does not close the item. Deliberate closure requires an outcome and reason, and retains unresolved amounts.

Money and currencies

Supported currencies: USD, CAD, GBP, AUD, NZD, EUR, JPY and KWD. Use your device’s decimal separator without thousands grouping or currency symbols. JPY accepts whole units; KWD accepts three decimal places; the others accept two. Extra precision is rejected, not rounded. There is no currency conversion. Create a separate purchase if you need a different currency after recording amounts.

Receipt files

Select PNG, JPEG, HEIC or unlocked PDF files up to 8 MiB each, with up to 20 per purchase and 24 MiB in the desk. PDFs must have 1–50 pages. Originals remain unchanged. Camera access is not needed: you can take a photo outside the app, select it, or continue with manual entry.

Reminders

Opt in under Settings → Local reminders. If denied, the app shows the real system status and a Settings link. Choose a fixed schedule timezone. Up to 48 reminders are scheduled within 30 days; reopen the app to extend the horizon. Snooze and skip affect a reminder occurrence only. Delivery depends on system settings; no reminder is guaranteed.

Backup, restore and recovery

Settings → Export complete backup creates a versioned JSON file containing records and original receipts. Keep it somewhere you control before reinstalling. Import validates the whole file before showing a preview. Merge adds new IDs while keeping existing item versions; skip ignores matching purchases; copy creates separate records. Replace restores the entire desk and settings. Repeated merge/skip imports do not count refunds twice. If the saved desk is unreadable, it is preserved and you can recover the previous intact save or import a valid backup.

Print a follow-up packet

Open a purchase → Prepare follow-up packet. Choose items, receipt evidence and optional notes. Review every preview page, then use Share or Print. Receipt evidence may contain personal details. Nothing is sent to a merchant automatically. Physical printer behavior has not been tested.

Purchase and offline use

All app features are included in the paid download, with no subscription or in-app upgrade. Redownload through the Apple Account that bought the app. Apple handles download availability, billing and refund requests. Core records, attachments, reconciliation and packet generation work offline. App Store downloads, web links and email require a connection.
